Christian Devotional – April 13, 2016

Read Acts chapter 13

VERSE:

Acts 13:38–Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

TRUTH:

There are many people in our lives that we call “friends.” Sometimes we use the word casually to describe other people around and near us and sometimes we use the word to describe a much more serious and close relationship. Either way, we can’t truly call anyone a friend unless we are sharing with them the good news of Jesus Christ and how that will impact their life. Because we know the truth, how can we possibly say that anyone is our friend if we haven’t shared with them how to experience forgiveness of sins and a right relationship with God? Take a look around you at the people you call friends. Have you shared with them?

RESPONSE:

Father, I want everyone to know about Jesus Christ, but most especially those who are closest to me. I pray that You will help me to be and to do all that You will have for me today.
