Devotional – January 25, 2012

VERSE:
Job 9:33–“There is no umpire between us, who may lay His hand upon both of us.”

TRUTH:
Job shares about the perfection of God and the sinfulness of man. He then states that he wishes there was a mediator to go between God and man. Someone who would be able to identify with both sides. What Job wishes for, God provides through the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was God and also became man so that He could bridge the gap between a perfect God and a sinful man. Through Jesus, we can come directly to God with all our concerns, questions, anything!

RESPONSE:
God, thank You for providing a way to be able to reach You, a person to bridge the gap caused by sin. I will share about Jesus with the people I meet today.
