Devotional – January 23, 2012

VERSE:
Job 7:17–“What is man that You magnify him, and that You are concerned about him?”

TRUTH:
Job looks at his life and everything about it seems futile and pointless. He asks God what God is even mindful of man, why man is even noticed by God. The fact remains that we are very important to God. We are His creation and He loves us very much. Even when we don’t feel that we are worthy of God’s notice, He sees us and loves us.

RESPONSE:
Lord, some days I don’t feel that I matter at all. Yet, You love me, You created me, and You care for me. I love You and I will rest in this truth even when I don’t feel it.
