Christian Devotional – February 26, 2018

There are times when life beats me up a bit. I feel wounded and hurt and brought down low. I’m not alone. In Psalm 10, we see how the Lord responds to us in these situaions if we will turn to Him.

O Lord , You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear

As we humbly accept that we cannot fix everything and we can’t change things, only God can, we are tempted to become depressed and impatient as we wait for God’s timing. That is when we need to remember that He is in control and that He is the One who strengthens our heart. He will hear our cries. He knows our needs. The question becomes, will we trust Him and rely on Him and allow Him to be the answer to the questions that we all, or will we try to do our on our own? We cannot strengthen our heart on our own. We cannot be heard by others on our own. We need Him. Will we come to Him?
