Christian Devotional – July 23, 2018

How would people describe you? When we think about the characteristics that define how we act and react in situations, how do others see us. What should be the defining characteristics? Read Psalm chapter 112.

He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord .

No fear, steadfast, and trusting are all words that the psalmist uses to describe the person who follows the Lord. When we look at our lives, do our actions reflect that? How do we respond when faced with difficulties and struggles? How do we respond when experiencing positive, happy situations? God is there during both. Do we lean and depend on Him?
