Devotional – October 16, 2011

VERSE:
Amos 7:15–“But the Lord took me from following the flock and the Lord said to me, ‘Go prophesy to My people Israel.'”

TRUTH:
God sees us where we are, in the midst of what we have been doing, and He calls us to Himself. He can change and remake anyone and use anyone for His purposes. Amos was a shepherd who was just being obedient to the calling of God in his life. What about us?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You see where I am and You still want to use me. Help me to be obedient to You in everything You ask of me.
