Devotional – August 28, 2011

VERSE:
1 Timothy 1:5–But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

TRUTH:
Why do we spend time learning about God and all that He has done for us? So that we might learn about His perfect love that is pure, good, and sincere. Do we recognize all that He did for us to be able to demonstrate His love for us? Have we learned enough to be able to share His love with others?

RESPONSE:
Father, only You know what it means to truly with a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Today, teach Your love so that I may display it to others.
