Devotional – July 12, 2011

VERSE:
1 Corinthians 1:18–For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

TRUTH:
The message of God’s love and sacrifice doesn’t make sense to people who have not experienced it. Those of us who have know that God’s love and sacrifice make perfect sense and display God’s power for everyone to see. We must share, both in words and deeds, the truth of God’s power to those who are perishing without it. Will we?

RESPONSE:
Lord, Your sacrifice and plan for salvation are amazing. Help me to live it out and tell of it to everyone I come into contact with today.
