Book Review – Jake and Jesus by Kelly Hagen

Young children often struggle to understand how Jesus and how He wants to be their best friend. Jake and Jesus by Kelly Hagen tells the story of Jake and how he relates to his best friend, Jesus. This is a beautifully illustrated book that tells the different ways that Jake is able to interact with Jesus and what it means to be best friends with Jesus.

Jake and Jesus shares the beautiful truth of God’s love and His gift of salvation with language and concepts that children can understand. This is a great book to help children understand who Jesus is and the relationship that He wants to have with each person. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to sharing it.
