Devotional – July 2, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 32:5–I acknowledged my sin to You and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin.

TRUTH:
God knows all things, including our sins. But He wants us to confess them to Him. Do we acknowledge and confess our sin? God is waiting to forgive the sin itself and the guilt caused by the sin.

RESPONSE:
Lord, I bring my shortcomings to You. I have failed You. Please forgive me and restore me today.
