Book Review – A Vision Beyond Abuse by Kathy Goodhew

There is hope. This is the message Kathy Goodhew shares in her book A Vision Beyond Abuse. Kathy’s chronicles her journey from her earliest memories through the difficulties of her abusive relationships and shows how there is hope for healing on the other side.

I want to thank Kathy for the opportunity to read her book. She shares her personal stories with clarity and an objective nature. It’s obvious that she truly desires the reader to have a better understanding of relationship abuse, but mainly to know that there can be hope and restoration, both from God and from herself. Overall I enjoyed the message of this book and the emphasis on the role that God plays in the ability to recover and be restored as a person once someone has experienced abuse.
