Devotional – June 6, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 6:4–Return, O Lord, rescue my soul; save me because of Your lovingkindness.

TRUTH:
The Lord is the rescuer. He is able to save us, not only from eternal death, but also from the day-to-day difficulties we encounter. Do we call to Him in the midst of all our trials?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are loving and You delight in rescuing those of us who ask. Lord, save me from the evil one because of Your lovingkindness.
