Devotional – May 3, 2011

VERSE:
Song of Solomon 2:3–Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

TRUTH:
The beloved loved her husband and complimented him. She shared with him how wonderful and unique he was, and how he protected and provided for her. Do we compliment our spouse or share with them our appreciation of all they do?

RESPONSE:
Lord, thank You for protecting and providing for me. Thank You also for providing my husband and I pray You will help me to share with him how wonderful he is today.
