Christian Devotional – April 11, 2013

VERSE:

1 Peter 5:7–Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

TRUTH:

We are to make a conscious choice to give our worries and troubles to God. It does not come easily or naturally to choose to allow Him to carry these burdens. However, God loves us and cares for us. We can trust Him with our troubles and anxieties. Today, we can choose to turn over to Him all that is weighing us down. We can then choose to trust Him to do what is best in each of those worrisome situations.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are the one who can handle every burden I have. I give them to You and will trust You to You know what is best in each and every situation.
