Joshua, Day 12

List of how God has moved. Read Joshua chapter 12.

As we read through the chapter, we see a list of all the kings Israel has defeated. It’s interesting that they chose to keep a record of that. It was a list of how God had provided for them. God worked through them to be able to defeat these kings and their areas and their people. These are people who were being disobedient to God and who had rebelled against God. God chose to bring judgment on these people through the armies of the people of Israel.

Do we keep a record of how God has blessed us? Do we remember the battles that God has fought on our behalf? We are to celebrate all that God does in and through us. God has a reason and purpose that we may or may not understand at the time but our responsibility is to be obedient to all that he asks us to do. Then we are to celebrate how God has moved through our lives.

Take time today and go back and remember all that God has done for you and celebrate that he has moved in powerful ways through your life.
