What are we expecting to receive from God? Read Joshua chapter 13.

I’ve often wondered if the Levites ever questioned their inheritance from God. All the other tribes received land and something tangible, but the Levites received God as their inheritance. While the Levites had the best inheritance, in the moment it may not have felt that way.

Even though God is our inheritance and we will get heaven one day, so often we want the things that we can see touch now. We want the material instead of the spiritual. Are we content with what God gives us, knowing that receiving heaven is worth so much more than we would ever receive now?
