Christian Devotional – April 13, 2015

Read Philippians chapter 2

VERSE:

Philippians 2:3–Do nothing out of selfish ambitions or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourself.

TRUTH:

What motivations us and what do we value? These are the questions that Paul is asking in this verse. We are to be motivation by humility and value others more than ourselves. Selfish ambition and vain conceit have no place in the life of the Christian. We are to surrender these to God and seek Him first and foremost in our lives.

RESPONSE:

Father, thank You for being my motivation and who I value. Because I value You, I will value others above myself. Thanks You for all You have done in my life and all You are going to do through me as I honor and value You!
