Psalm and Praise, Day 99

God is truly in control and we need to acknowledge and respect that. Read Psalm chapter 99.

As we read through the psalm and see the praise that is goven to God, we certainly understand that he is worthy. He is able to be praised. But, when we praise God, we are forced to acknowledge our failures and shortcomings. God is perfect and holt. We are not. Only as we compare ourselves side by side do we truly recognize the failings. We must be willing to praise and still tremble when we think about who God is compared to him.

We can praise God. We can acknowledge our failures to him. As we tremble before Him, he is gracious to and merciful toward us, which makes him even more worthy of our praise.
