Christian Devotional – April 17, 2014

Read Deuteronomy chapter 33

VERSE:

Deuteronomy 33:12–About Benjamin he said: “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.”

TRUTH:

As Moses blessed the people one last time, this is the blessing He bestowed on the people of Benjamin. The beloved of the Lord can rest securely in Him. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called the children of God. We are His beloved. We can rest securely in Him knowing that He protects and shields us from everything. Nothing comes to us that hasn’t first gone through Him. We can rest in Him today.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your love for me is a tangible thing. I can feel safe and secure in Your love. I will rest in You as You shield me from all that comes at me today.
