Christian Devotional – April 20, 2015

Read Psalm chapter 94

VERSE:

Psalm 94:11–The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.

TRUTH:

God knows what we are planning. Our thoughts and ideas are not a secret from Him. However, if our plans are our own and not following God’s plans, then our plans are futile and will come to nothing. Are we spending our time and our focus on something that is futile? We don’t want to waste all that the Lord has for us by focusing on things that don’t matter.

RESPONSE:

Father, I praise You for all that You have done and I will seek out Your plans for me and not my own plans. My plans will come to nothing and I desire to spend my time and energy on things that will last. Give me clear direction as to Your plans and where they are headed today!
