Read Romans chapter 5

VERSE:

Romans 5:1–Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God though our Lord Jesus Christ.

TRUTH:

How is it possible that we: a sinful, imperfect creation, can be at peace with the perfect, holy, creator God? Through faith, we are made right, or justified, with God. When we have faith that God has paid the price for our sins, we are justified and made right with God. That faith leads us to peace with God. Do we experience peace with God? Do we have faith in Him?

RESPONSE:

Father, I love You and I have faith in You and Your Son Jesus Christ. I know that You have paid the price so that I can be made right with You. I will rest in Your peace today, knowing that You have done the work to provide the peace I need in my life.
