Read Psalm chapter 97

VERSE:

Psalm 97:11–Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.

TRUTH:

Is our life in the light? If we feel like we are surrounded by darkness, we must remember that light and joy both come from God as we are surrendering ourselves to Him. Through our submission and obedience we can experience God’s joy even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are my light and my joy. I will not seek after those things from anywhere else. I love You and praise You.
