Read Psalm chapter 103

VERSE:

Psalm 103:12–as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

TRUTH:

When we fall short, we can experience such guilt and remorse that at times it’s hard to pick ourselves back up and get moving again. Satan tries to continuously remind us of all the things that we’ve done that have gone against God in an effort to keep us paralyzed and unable to be obedient to God in the present. God gives us this reminder that as we confess our sins and repent from them, we turn away from our sins. God forgives us. He then removes our transgressions far from us, as far as the east is from the west. Will we trust Him to do in us this cleansing and not believe the lies of Satan.

RESPONSE:

Father, thank You for cleansing me and for making me whole. You have brought me back together and You have taken my sins and removed them from me. I don’t have to feel guilty any longer, I can remember only Your mercy and forgiveness that has covered me.
