Psalm and Praise, Day 90

Perspective. Read Psalm chapter 90.

Moses writes this psalm and gives us an interesting perspective into his relationship with God. This verse is a reminder that life is short, and while we all know that and can speak the that, the reality is that we don’t really understand that.

Moses asks God to teach him that life is short, which implies that he didn’t already truly understand that. But, once he does understand that, that is the path to wisdom. Being taught by God is always the path to wisdom, but we have to choose to accept that lesson. Will we understand the brevity of life and allow God to teach us that, so we can gain his wisdom?
