Christian Devotional – April 6, 2015

Read Psalm chapter 84

VERSE:

Psalm 84:2–My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

TRUTH:

All that God is and all His glory, He desires to share with us. Do we desire Him as much as He desires us? Here the psalmist is talking about the desperate, total need for God in his life. When we look at our life, what do we see? Do we see the things that we have accumulated or do we see things that God has allowed us to have? We must have the correct perspective for all things that we need are only found in God. We yearn for Him every moment of every day.

RESPONSE:

Father, I need You. I can’t begin to describe how much I need You or how great Your working in my life is. I will cry out to You for apart from You I am completely nothing.
