Running the Race – #44
Philippians 4:20-23 – Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar’s household. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

As we conclude our study through Philippians, we come to the reason behind it all. What is the reason that we run this race? What is the reason we are able to endure? How do we keep ficused on the finish line when everything around us is falling apart? We are focused on God’s glory.
As we seek to learn more about God and to make Him holy in our lives, we will see Him as He truly is… holy and worthy of our praise. He is worth running the race for. He is worth the struggle and the difficulty and the frustrations of this life. He is worthy of our best and He is the reason that we continue to run the race each and every day.
Are we running a race that is worthy of our Savior? Are we running a race each day that demonstrates Christ as King of our hearts and lives? God is the reason that we run the race and only through Him can we run in a way that is worthy of Him. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. Keep focused on Christ Jesus and run the race!
