Christian Devotional – August 12, 2012
VERSE:
Isaiah 51:12–I, even I, and He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies and of the son of man who is made like grass?
TRUTH:
Where does our comfort come from? God. We can seek comfort from many other things, but only God is the true Comforter capable of providing exactly what we need in every situation. We don’t need to fear men for they die and are gone, but we trust in God in every situation.
RESPONSE:
Lord, I will seek my comfort from You and You alone. I know that no one else can truly hurt me, I will trust in You.
EXTRA:
