Double Portion – #35
Elisha has died and was buried. And now, just to confirm where his power came from, God does one more miracle through Elisha. Read it 2 Kings 13:20-21.
Elisha died, and they buried him. Now the bands of the Moabites would invade the land in the spring of the year. As they were burying a man, behold, they saw a marauding band; and they cast the man into the grave of Elisha. And when the man touched the bones of Elisha he revived and stood up on his feet.

A man who was dead was thrown into the grave of Elisha, then he pops back up living again after touching Elisha’s bones. What an amazing miracle! God did so many things through Elisha and it’s a great reminder that was really is God working through him, not Elisha working on his own.
Does God work through us? The answer is yes, if we will let him. We must be obedient and committed to all that God has for us, but we should never forget where the power comes from. The power to make change in people’s lives comes from God and God alone. How can we allow God to move through our lives more today? How can we impact those we are around for him today?
