Christian Devotional – August 23, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 62:1–For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness and her salvation like a torch that is burning.

TRUTH:
Isaiah, speaking here, had profound passion for the people he was speaking to. He longed for them to experience and know God’s righteousness and salvation so that they would display that to the world. Do we have the same burning passion for the people we are around? For the whole world?

RESPONSE:
Father give me a heart of fire and determination to share You with the entire world. I want to see Your salvation and righteousness spread like a burning flame over all the earth. You are amazing and the whole world needs to know.
