Christian Devotional – August 30, 2018

Who are all the overnight workers? It can be a difficult and sometimes thankless role to work overnight. Yet, in many cases it is of vital importance to the things that get done during the day. The psalmist calls them out specifically for blessing from the Lord in Psalm 134.

Behold, bless the Lord , all servants of the Lord , Who serve by night in the house of the Lord !

Are you thankful for the people who work behind the scenes, helping out to do all that needs to be done? God never sleeps. He is still there for those people who carry on and carry through the night, serving Him. Do we show them the appreciation they deserve?
