Christian Devotional – December 1, 2019

Crucified. We see the fruit of the Spirit discussed today and realize the only way we experience that is if we are crucified. Read Galatians 5:22-24.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

The battle of the Spirit versus the flesh is only won when the flesh dies. It can’t just be contained or controlled, but must be completely crucified. Are we experiencing the Fruit of the Spirit in our lives today? If not, we must crucify the flesh with its desires.
