Christian Devotional – December 18, 2013

VERSE:

Numbers 32:23–But if you fail to do this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.

TRUTH:

You can’t hide sin from God. He will see and know all that we think and do. If we promise to do something and don’t follow through, He will hold us accountable for what we have promised. The people of Israel were warned about this and we would do well to remember it even when we think no one is watching.

RESPONSE:

Father, You see everything and know everything. You know when I follow through on my word and when I don’t. Give me the courage to follow through on all that I have promised to do.
