Christian Devotional – December 2, 2019

How do we walk? This chapter has compared walking and living in the Spirit versus walking a living in the flesh. We must choose to walk in the Spirit. Read Galatians 5:25-26.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

You only walk by the Spirit if you’re living by the Spirit. We cannot do one without doing the other. If I’m truly claiming to be living in the Spirit and not the flesh, then our actions will match.

When people look at our lives, what do they see? Do they see the activities that were listed earlier as activities of the flesh? Or, do they see the Spirit lived out in our lives? We make a choice each and every day. What will we choose to walk in today?
