Read Genesis chapter 5

VERSE:

Genesis 5:3–When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.

TRUTH:

When God created Adam, He stated that He made Adam in God’s own image and likeness: perfect. Then Adam sinned and fell from grace. Therefore, when Adam had children, they were in his likeness and his image: sinful. As a result, we are born sinful with our sin nature. We need a Savior, even from our very conception. God knew this and sent Jesus Christ to be the answer and to bring up back into the image and likeness of God. Have we accepted His gift of salvation?

RESPONSE:

Father, I want to thank You for all that You have done and all that You have provided. I was born sinful, but I have been made new by You through Jesus Christ. Help me to share that with others around me today!
