Christian Devotional – December 27, 2017

How much do you love others and what does that say about you? It can actually be quite telling. Read the story of Jesus found in Luke 7:11-49.

For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.”

Those who know what life is truly like without Jesus, understand the change and the difference when He forgives them. They love Him and as a result they love others. Their love for others becomes evident in how they live their life and what they do. The people they are around can’t help but see the difference. Other people may not understand it, but they can’t deny it.

How much do we love others? Do people see the love of Christ in and through you? As we each are reminded of what we have been saved from, we will better understand and live out the love of Christ that He has first shown us. How much do we love? The answer is found in how much we have been forgiven from.
