Christian Devotional – December 3, 2019
We have to be there for each other. The Christian life is about walking with the other people around us. Read Galatians 6:1-2.
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

We are to bear each other’s burdens and to hold each other accountable for following Jesus Christ. The Christian life is difficult. There are lots of temptations and trials and multiple opportunities to slip and fall. Yet, our brothers and sisters are to help us and to hold us accountable just as we are to hold them accountable.
Do you see someone around us who has slipped? What are we doing about it? We are to go to that person and lovingly share the concern with them. We cannot successfully walk the Christian life alone. We must do it through Christ’s strength but having the help of other people around us to point out our opportunities and to celebrate our successes is what makes the Christian life easier. Who are we helping walk their Christian life today?
