Christian Devotional – December 6, 2019
Hang in there. We’ve all felt it, that overwhelming urge to give up and give in. That’s not what God has for us. Read Galatians 6:7-10.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

At the end of the day, whatever we are sowing by our actions and deeds and daily life is what we will reap. However, that harvest does not always come as soon as we think it should. Sometimes, the harvest is delayed and we start to think that the Godly actions that we are taking will never be seen or noticed and that they are not worth the effort it takes to allow God to work in our lives.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Hang in there. The harvest is coming where we will reap what we have sown through the course of our life. The harvest just never comes as soon as we think it should. Don’t allow frustration, weariness, or lack of seeing results, deter us from continuing to do all that God has us to do each day.
God sees our obedience and God knows our motivations. God will reward us at the right time if we don’t lose heart. Endurance and tenacity are the words for today. Don’t ever lose focus on doing what you know God has for you to do. He sees and at the right time, he will reward.
