VERSE:
Acts 21:39–But Paul said, “I am a Jew of Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city; and I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.”
TRUTH:
Paul was the subject of a riot and was in the equivalent of police custody and protection, but his first request was to be able to address those who were trying to attack him. He had a message to share and every circumstance that happened was to be used as a means to share. Are we sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all no matter what is going on around us?
RESPONSE:
Father, I get distracted by my surroundings and circumstances. I confess to You that I know this is wrong. I will maintain my focus on Your purpose for me and my life to share about You no matter what else is going on around me today.
