There is absolute truth. No matter what the world says, truth is not something that changes from one situation to another. Read Psalm 119:89-96.

Your word, Lord , is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life. Save me, for I am yours; I have sought out your precepts. The wicked are waiting to destroy me, but I will ponder your statutes. To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless.

God’s Word is truth. The end. There is no other truth outside of God’s word. And, if it’s in God’s word, it’s truth. Nothing changes. No matter what people try to make truth out to be or if they try to change truth to match what they want, the fact remains that God’s word is truth.

Are we focused on understanding the truth of God and on realizing all that we have been given because of God’s truth? God’s truth allows us to know that there are constants in the universe that God has created that we can count on and rely on. We can count on and rely on God because his word says so and that’s truth. What truth of God do you need to be reminded up today?
