Christian Devotional – February 11, 2015

Read Galatians chapter 1

VERSE:

Galatians 1:10–Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

TRUTH:

Every day, this should be a question that we ask ourselves. Every decision we make should be evaluated by this. Are we trying to please another person, or are we trying to please God? If we are choosing actions that are focused solely on pleasing other people, we are simply not going to be focused on pleasing God. There is a statement: please God, and the people who please God will be pleased with you. You just pray for the rest.

RESPONSE:

Father, I want my life to please You today. You are the One who I desire to please. I want to learn and grow today as I keep my desire to please You forefront in my mind today.
