Read Revelation chapter 2

VERSE:

Revelation 2:4–Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.

TRUTH:

Remember how excited we were when we first committed our lives to Jesus Christ? That excitement and love for Him is to be how we characterize our relationship with Him always going forward. Do we lack joy and excitement in our walk with Christ? Perhaps we have left our first love. We must repent and come back to Him. He can restore our joy and love as we restore our relationship with Him.

RESPONSE:

Father, I desire Your love to come through my life. I confess that I have drifted from You and I need to come back and focus on You, my first love. I desire You and want to make sure that everyone I am around knows of my first love for You.
