Christian Devotional – February 20, 2016

Read John chapter 13

VERSE:

John 13:35–By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

TRUTH:

When people look at us and our lives, would they see us as His disciples? Would they be able to tell, based on our actions alone, that God is the sole desire of our hearts? When we allow God to be at the center of our lives and our hearts, then our actions will display His characteristics and people will be able to see and identify Him in us. Do we love others with the love of Christ so that the world can see Jesus through us?

RESPONSE:

Father, today, give me Your love for the people that I am around. Help me to know and understand how I can be a display of You to them today. Help me to share You with everyone I am around.
