God shares that like plants with their branches and roots, we are to remain in Him because we can’t do anything apart from him. He also discusses that we are to love others as he loved us. When we think about how God loves us, we realize that he gives us limits and boundaries. God disciples us and leads us in the right direction. So often, we thinking loving people means allowing them to do whatever they want. Instead, loving people means that we are seeking to help them be more like Christ.
