Christian Devotional – February 27, 2018

What does it mean to take refuge? To hide in safety and protection? The Psalmist describes the refuge that we have in Christ in Psalm chapter 11

In the Lord I take refuge; How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain;

If we are taking refuge in Christ then we don’t need to flee. We only need to be where He is. We can know that He will protect us and lead us. He will save us. The question becomes about trust. Will we trust Him even when everything around us is telling us to run? We are to stay right where God has us, doing the things that God has us doing, for He will guide and protect us.
