Christian Devotional – February 8, 2013

VERSE:
1 Chronicles 8:40–The sons of Ulam were brave warriors who could handle the bow. They had many sons and grandsons–150 in all.

TRUTH:
These men were described as both brave warriors and skilled archers. Not only did they have the right attitude to face their circumstance, they also had the right skill to carry out their objective. God desires to use both our attitude and our skill to obey Him and bring Him glory. Do we have both?

RESPONSE:
Father, I pray that I will always be found with the right attitude as well as the right skills. I don’t want to be found lacking in either area so that I may glorify You as You deserve.
