Christian Devotional – January 1, 2023

The New Year

A few weeks ago, I did a Devotional about this verse. You can read that Devotional here.

Each year, I have chosen a word that serves to be a reminder for the entire year of what God has shared with me should be important as I go through the year. This New Year brings a new word. I feel led that my word for this year is “continue” based on this verse, Colossians 2:6.

As we have made a commitment to give our lives to Christ, that is not just a one time event. We are to continue to stay focused on all that God desires to do with us and through us. We cannot get distracted by all the “stuff” that is going to be thrown our way.
