Read Psalm chapter 11

VERSE:

Psalm 11:1–In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain.”

TRUTH:

I take refuge in the Lord. I do not have to flee. I don’t have to retreat. I can stand firm exactly where God has placed me because He is my refuge and wherever He is, I am safe. We can get afraid and fearful as we go through difficult times, but if we are doing what God has us to do, there is no safer place to be. I will take refuge in the Lord and will stand firm even in the midst of the storms and battles of life because where He is, there my safety and security is.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are the only safety and protection I desire. I will run to You and stay in You. Keep me hidden in You so that I may stand firm in the midst of all the difficulties I face. I will not run away from them, for You are there in the midst.
