Christian Devotional – January 13, 2013

VERSE:
John 3:15–that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.

TRUTH:
Everyone. Not just those who come from the right families, or who do the right things. Not those who have lots of money or who go to church every Sunday. Everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. The belief in Jesus Christ is the deciding factor whether we experience the eternal life Jesus Christ promises. Do we believe? Do we share with others so they may believe?

RESPONSE:
Father, You are truly amazing that You give this gift of eternal life to those who believe in Jesus. Forgive me if I try to add additional qualifications or think there are other things I must do to earn my relationship with You. I love You. I believe in You.
