Christian Devotional – January 2, 2013

VERSE:
Leviticus 19:11–You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

TRUTH:
Yesterday, we talked about the importance of respecting and reverencing God. Today, this verse deals with respecting others. Do we treat other people with love and honor, or do we try to manipulate and use people? We will be held accountable for how we treat other people.

RESPONSE:
Father, I want to treat others with respect and show them the love that You would show since they are Your creation and You love them, too. Help me to follow Your standards when it comes to how I treat others.
