Do you know what you want? If God gave you an opportunity to ask Him for anything, what would you say?  Often we have a very vague idea of what we are expecting to receive from God. As we look at Luke 18:18-43 we see a very interesting story with someone who knew exactly what he wanted from God and he was persistent in getting it.

“What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”
Luke 18:41‭-‬42 NASB

You see, Jesus actually asked him, what do you want me to do for you? He had the answer ready and was very specific. When we pray, do we ask God, persistently, for specific things? God desires to glorify Himself through us and God will often use our requests as an opportunity to display His glory. We must ask for things that will glorify Him, but we should also be specific in what we want to see Him do in our lives.

Do you know what you would ask for if God came to you with this question? How would what you ask for help to glorify God? Finally do you have faith that He can and will do what you ask?
